Agnes Vinblad is USCIB’s Senior Director of Environment and Sustainable Development, where she leads the organization’s policy engagement and advocacy on climate change, biodiversity, and environmental policy. She manages USCIB’s Environment Committee and the USCIB Biodiversity Working Group.
Vinblad represents US business in major international environmental policy processes, including the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC), the Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD), the UN Environment Programme (UNEP), and relevant OECD bodies such as the OECD/IEA Climate Change Expert Group (CCXG). Her work focuses on the role of the private sector in supporting key multilateral environmental agreements, including the Paris Agreement, the Global Biodiversity Framework, and negotiations toward a legally binding treaty on plastic pollution.
Through USCIB, Vinblad has represented US business at countless major international environmental meetings across the world and leads the organization’s observer delegations to UN Climate and Biodiversity COPs.
She joined USCIB in 2021 and holds a B.S. in Business Administration and Management from Long Island University, where she graduated with Magna Cum Laude Latin Honors.
