As Vice President of Communications, Anna Hughes works to elevate the profile of USCIB and its in-house expertise, promote USCIB’s mission and brand to relevant stakeholders, and craft messaging and campaigns to build trust in American businesses.
Hughes joined USCIB in 2024, bringing more than 20 years of experience from the private sector, association, and PR agency worlds. Prior to USCIB, Hughes was the head of policy communications for Twitter. Before that, she led global communications at BSA | The Software Alliance. She has also represented Fortune 100 companies, associations, and foreign governments as an account lead in the corporate and public affairs practice of Ogilvy Public Relations. She has a BA in English literature from Boston University.
