Special Considerations

Advisory: German customs typically grant the validity period of a Carnet for live animal(s) based on the duration of a health certificate.  If the duration of a health certificate is three months, the German customs will restrict the entry of the live animal(s) to three months. Check #2, “Final Date” on the importation counterfoil to determine the date by which the live animal(s) must be re-exported.

Special Considerations

Korean customs typically restricts the entry of goods to six months. Check #2, “Final Date” on the importation counterfoil to determine the date by which the goods must be re-exported.  If more time is needed, the Carnet Holder should request such of Korean Customs before the expiry of the final date of re-exportation.

    Guam is a protectorate of United States. Their Customs is not administered by US Customs and Border Protection.  We do not guarantee Carnets for Guam. However, Guam’s local customs office informed us that they will accept ATA Carnets from any of the issuing countries.
