Business at OECD (BIAC) and OECD Trade Committee Meetings

You are invited to attend virtually the Business at OECD (BIAC) and OECD Trade Committee meetings on April 4-6, 2022. If you would like to participate, please email aharrington@uscib.org by noon Monday, March 28, and indicate which sessions you would like to attend. As space is limited for the OECD meetings, please note that participation will be subject to confirmation only.

1. Business at OECD Trade Committee Meeting, Monday, April 4, 2022 – 8:30 am – 12:00 pm ET.  Attached is the draft agenda for the spring 2022 Business at OECD Trade Committee session, as well as the summary record of the fall 2021 session. This meeting will discuss business trade priorities in light of recent developments, including the Russian aggression against Ukraine, followed by an exchange with OECD trade leadership. The session will also provide an update and exchange with the OECD on their recent work on trade, climate change and environment, as well as on digital trade.
2. OECD Trade Committee – Plenary Session, Tuesday, April 5, 2022 – 4:00 am– 12:00 pm ET & Wednesday, April 6, 2022 – 4:00 am– 7:00 am ET.  Attached is the draft agenda for the spring 2022 OECD Trade Committee plenary session.  The session will focus on the negotiation of the OECD trade policy work program for 2023-24, feature brief updates on the upcoming 2022 OECD Ministerial discussions on trade, and highlight OECD high-level orientations as well as G7, G20 and APEC activities.
