COVID-19 Vaccines, Scientific Advances, Access Models and Vaccination Acceptance

BPSD, together with the UN Technology Facilitation Mechanism, UN Department of Economic and Social Affairs (DESA), the City University of New York (CUNY) Graduate School of Public Health and Health Policy, and others has organized an event on “COVID-19 vaccines: scientific advances, access models and vaccination acceptance”. Join experts to discuss the following questions:

• What is the status of scientific research advances in COVID-19 vaccines? What are the implications for policy?
• What are the most promising models for universal access? What are the most needed high priority actions in this regard?
• How can public trust in science by earned, vaccine literacy be built, and misleading vaccine information and vaccine hesitancy be addressed?
