ILO International Labor Conference
June 3, 2024 - June 14, 2024
USCIB’s CRLA team is preparing the U.S. employer delegation for this year’s International Labour Conference, scheduled for June 3rd-14th in Geneva. We welcome all types of companies to join the delegation. This year’s discussions are particularly important for companies in healthcare, agriculture, pharmaceuticals, and the care economy. We also encourage companies impacted by future standard-setting processes, i.e. chemical companies, and platform companies, to join this year’s ILC, as a learning opportunity.
The International Labour Conference (ILC) is the annual meeting of the ILO Member States. This is where international labor standards are negotiated and adopted. The ILC also supervises the application of Conventions and Recommendations at the national level. Further, the ILC is an opportunity to discuss the most pressing social – and labor policy issues.
Each Member State brings government representatives, employer representatives and worker representatives to the ILC. USCIB leads the U.S. employer delegation. USCIB is the only organization to provide access to the ILC for American companies.
