The OECD’s High-Level Critical Minerals Forum takes place in Istanbul, Türkiye from April 28-29, 2026. This High-level Forum will bring together Ministers and government officials from mineral-importing and producing countries, as well as senior representatives from the private sector and civil society organizations, alongside OECD experts. Participants will discuss policy approaches to reconcile the objectives of building diversified, resilient and responsible critical mineral supply chains that reduce strategic dependencies, while supporting resource-rich countries in advancing local value addition and industrialization.
