OECD Working Party on Chemical Accidents (WPCA)

The OECD Working Party on Chemical Accidents (WPCA) will convene from October 25-27, 2022 as a hybrid meeting via Zoom and in person at the OECD Headquarters in Paris. Please find the draft agenda attached.

As you will see in the attached, the meeting will feature discussions on the following issues:

• Day 1: Progress and highlights in the Chemical Accidents Programme since the last meeting, an annual report of the joint EU-OECD-UNECE accident reporting and analysis scheme, a delegations report on recent developments related to chemical accidents, and a project update on Natech Risk Management;
• Day 2: Delegations reports on recent developments related to chemical accidents, a decision-recommendation on chemical accident prevention, preparedness and response, in addition to guiding principles on chemical accident prevention, preparedness and response, and a thematic session on future work;
• Day 3: A proposal to organise an online seminar on the management of hazardous installations at port areas, a delegations report on recent developments related to chemical accidents, and additional WPCA business.
