UN Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD) Conference

Please refer to this press release from the UN Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD) announcing that CBD COP15 will be held on October 11-24, 2021 in Kunming, China.

The preparatory meetings are provisionally envisaged as follows:

• Twenty-fourth meeting of the Subsidiary Body on Scientific, Technical and Technological Advice (SBSTTA-24) and the Third meeting of the Subsidiary Body on Implementation (SBI-3) to be held soon as possible, potentially in the second half of April or May 2021.
• Third meeting of the Open-Ended Working Group on the Post-2020 Global Biodiversity Framework (OEWG-3) to be held in August 2021.
