UNGA High-level Event on SDG Financing

UN General Assembly President Miroslav Lajcak has announced that he will convene an event on financing the SDGs in June. In a briefing on 12 January, Lajcak said the event “should act as a platform for stronger public-private partnerships” and will explore ways for the UN to better align with the “rapidly changing world of international finance, and support the 2030 Agenda and the Addis Ababa Action Agenda”.
This event is one of three main events related to the implementation of the SDGs that the UNGA President is organizing in 2018.
