USCIB President and CEO Whitney Baird was featured in a Los Angeles Business Journal Article, “Ports: Examining the Shift,” discussing the shift in where the imports are sourced amid a global trade realignment. The article shared insights shared during a panel at the Milken Institute Global Conference in May, where Baird highlighted that the world is at an “inflection point” and undergoing a “fundamental reassessment” of the status quo as governments and businesses reevaluate global trade relationships and efforts to reduce dependence on China for critical inputs and production.
