USCIB Leads Discussion on Increasing Chamber of Commerce Engagement in ICC Initiatives

Madison Calkins attending the International Compliance Professional Association (ICPA) Annual Conference earlier this year.
Madison Calkins, ATA Development Manager at USCIB, led a discussion with the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) National Committees (NCs) on strategies to recruit and engage chambers of commerce across the ICC’s network. The session brought together 50 participants from various NCs around the world.
The discussion marked the launch of Let’s Workshop It, a new series of monthly, peer‑led virtual workshops designed to help ICC NCs address common operational challenges and share practical solutions. Calkins highlighted how USCIB’s strategic approach to attracting new chambers to the ICC World Chambers Federation (WCF) aligns with efforts to increase awareness of ATA Carnets across the US.
Since joining USCIB last year, Calkins has engaged extensively with a diverse range of chambers, gaining valuable insight into their different structures, expectations, and needs.
The session also featured contributions from the ICC’s NC Engagement and WCF teams, who shared updates on their ongoing efforts to support outreach and strengthen engagement with chambers globally.
