USCIB Participates in Mastercard’s Digital Ambassadors Forum

Elizabeth Duncan at Mastercard’s Digital Ambassadors Forum roundtable
USCIB participated in the Digital Ambassadors Forum (DAF) breakfast roundtable, Wiring the World on What Terms? Development Finance and Competing Digital Visions, hosted by USCIB member Mastercard on April 14.
According to Elizabeth Duncan, Policy Manager, Digital at USCIB, who participated in the roundtable, the discussion convened key leaders from multilateral development banks, governments, civil society, and the private sector to share perspectives on the policy debate around balancing digital sovereignty and interoperability. Participants explored how policy frameworks, as well as partnership and procurement models can strengthen local capacity and support resilient digital ecosystems.
Distinguished speakers included Iván Dunque, former President of Colombia, Tucker Foote, Chief Government Affairs and Policy Offer at Mastercard, Jason Oxman, President and CEO of the Information Technology Industry Council (ITI), and Mahesh Uttamchandani, Regional Practice Director for Digital and AI at the World Bank.
This conversation is part of ongoing DAF convenings on vital digital policy issues, culminating in a broader forum in New York on the margins of the UN General Assembly.
