USCIB Participates in UN Future of Food Event During NY Climate Week

USCIB President and CEO Whitney Y. Baird spoke at the joint United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO), NVIDIA, and Deloitte event titled UN Future of Food: Building Resilient Solutions for Global Food Security, held during NY Climate Week and the 80th United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) High Level Week (HLW) on September 23.

The session highlighted how technology-driven, public-private collaboration can strengthen agri-food systems to become more resilient, sustainable, and inclusive.  

Baird joined other leaders in the field, including Maximo Torero, Chief Economist at the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO); Jason Slater, Chief of Digital Economy & AI Innovation at UNIDO; Josh Parker, Head of Sustainability at NVIDIA; and Paul Prohodski Specialist Leader at Deloitte. The session was moderated by Marcello Carmignani, Director of International Affairs and Operational Excellence at Deloitte. 

USCIB’s Natalie Bidner-Swehla, Director of International Agriculture, also attended to support Baird and our member companies.
